President-Elect Donald Trump shot himself in the foot countless times over the course of the campaign with the unfiltered, deeply bigoted statements he posted via his Twitter account, often at odd hours.
Trump’s Twitter filth undermined any shred of credibility he possessed. However, during the final days of his campaign, his advisers incredibly managed to wrest his access to his Twitter away from Donald.
In doing so, they more than likely saved Trump’s campaign. Only by completely muzzling him were campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and others able to present Trump as anything close to electable. Now that Trump has cemented his position as President-to-be, however, the kid gloves are off. Trump has his Twitter megaphone back, and he announced his social media return with a classic Trumpian deeply paranoid statement. Posted Donald, “Just had a very open and successful presidential election. Now professional protesters, incited by the media, are protesting. Very unfair!” Are you terrified of what Trump will say on Twitter for the next four years?
