Even Team Trump, as dumb as they all are to be supporting him, is at least well aware that their candidate is far from loved by the vast majority of our country. Their solution, however, isn’t to examine his many huge red flags and work to amend them but rather to scold the country.

So Reverb Press is reporting that Sean Spicer, Trump’s Press Secretary, is starting off the new year by attempting to fix Trump’s image after Americans were forced to witness months and months of disturbing behavior. There are several PR tactics one can use to improve their image situation, from re-branding to publicized charity. However, Spicer’s strategy appears to be an old-fashioned one: pleading.

Speaking to ABC, Spicer talked about how everyone was focusing too much on Trump’s tweeting habits and should instead pay attention to his actions. Spicer also repeated the lie that Trump saved 5,000 Sprint jobs, despite it having been debunked long before. Sorry dude, unfortunately for you some of us have been paying attention!

And then he whined that people need to stop being so mean to Trump. “And instead of trying to mock him or undermine him, it’s time that people started to give him credit for actually getting things done.” I mean seriously, doesn’t it sound like we’ve got just about the most thin-skinned president-elect ever?

So…be careful not to hurt his feelings is, I guess, the takeaway message from him. But from us, we say that you should do whatever you can to resist him and his agenda and the imbeciles that he has in top positions along with him! And if you want to see how you can do that, check out this amazing grassroots call to action!
