President-Elect Donald Trump keeps touting what a “winner” he is, but through his words and actions he has proved to be the ultimate loser. Even after having won the Presidential election, he still found a way to be a sore loser about it.
As we all know, Trump squeaked by and won the election by winning 290 votes in the Electoral College. However, he lost the popular vote by an ever-increasing margin.
Hillary Clinton now has a lead of nearly 1 million popular votes, which clearly shows that Trump does not have a clear mandate to govern. He only won the election due to the peculiarity of our country’s election system. This is not lost on Trump, who is raging inside about having lost the popular vote. Tweeted Trump, “If the election were based on total popular vote I would have campaigned in N.Y. Florida and California and won even bigger and more easily.” How pathetic is it that Trump is bitter about having lost the popular vote to Hillary?
