According to sources, controversial Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu will be making the trek to America to attend Trump’s inauguration.

According to the New York Post, ‘President-elect Donald Trump’s advisers want to invite Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu to the inauguration or arrange a meeting of the two leaders before then, a source close to the transition said.’

The info was given by an unnamed source. The source continued: “There’s a plan for Trump to meet with Netanyahu. They’re talking all the time. And Netanyahu is talking about possibly going to the inauguration.”

However, during Obama’s first inauguration no foreign leaders were invited.

Typically, if a president kicks off their time in office by favoring a foreign leader to the point of hosting that leader for inauguration day, the ground is made ripe for conflicts of interest to spring up.

If Trump really did invite Netanyahu, this would confirm Americans worst fear. confirm himself as a president willing and ready to conspire with foreign leaders with adversarial tendencies just for the sake of being provocative, a highly applicable description of Trump already long birthed out of his corrupt, shady relationship with Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

Only time will tell if Netanyahu shows up to the inauguration. But the unnamed source also reported that Trump and Netanyahu “talk all the time.”

After the Israeli PM got to Trump, the president-elect tweeted a threat against the U.N., writing, “As to the U.N., things will be different after Jan. 20th.”

It is completely inappropriate For Trump to host the PM for at his inauguration. It is also completely unprecedented and out of line for Trump to do whatever he is told to do by foreign leaders. In fact, it puts our country and our citizens at risk.
