As if Kellyanne Conway’s made up Bowling Green terrorist attack wasn’t bad enough, Donald Trump decided that he would tell the world during his Saturday evening rally in Florida, that something happened in Sweden on Friday night.
At the rally, Trump stated:
“We’ve got to keep our country safe… You look at what’s happening in Germany. You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden. Who would believe this? Sweden! They took in large numbers. They’re having problems that they never thought possible.”
However, that too was an alternative fact. That’s right. Nothing happened in Sweden. Twitter, of course, can always be accounted for to keep Trump in check.

Sweden has had attacks in the past, but nothing happened Friday night.
So, as we all come together to unite behind Sweden and this make-believe attack, let’s remember the only ones perpetuating fake news regularly is the Trump administration, and it’s up to the news media to set the facts straight.
